Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American model and actress. A talent agent noticed her talents and suggested she enter the world of entertainment. After much thought and consideration, she decided to leave the University to enter the world of entertainment. In the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror she debuted in a shaky performance. It took her a long period of time to refine her acting and she starred in several low-budget productions order to demonstrate her abilities. She persevered and her will power proved fruitful. The career of her acting began when she was able to earn fame, positive reviews and appreciation for her part as a character in Training Day.
